Welcome to Holly Ridge Baptist Church!
Thank you for visiting the church's website. I would like to take a few moments to tell you a little more about Holly Ridge Baptist Church. We are a newly formed Southern Baptist Church located in Blacksburg, S.C. When we started, we desired to return back to the Scriptures as our authority, and we also desired to be biblical and God-centered in every area of the church. In a culture of relativism, seeker-friendly and mega-churches, we seek to be a church that reflects the glory of Christ instead of reflecting the culture. We understand that the purpose of the church is to glorify God in all that we do. We seek to do that through following God's instructions in His Word concerning worship, prayer, preaching, teaching, fellowship, evangelism, and biblical counseling. We have sought to return back to historic Southern Baptist doctrine and leadership. We are an elder led church that holds to Reformed Theology. The teachings of the Protestant Reformers have been summarized in the Five Solas of the Protestant Reformation: Scripture Alone, Christ Alone, Grace Alone, Faith Alone, and Glory to God Alone.
